Welcome to Southern
Hospitality!
The friendly Welcome to Chattanooga,
you will love it here greeting received upon arrival is sincere and from
the heart. John being born in Alabama and I in Georgia developed our
deep-rooted southern heritage. We never meet a stranger, only a future friend!
We settled in Chattanooga 38 years ago as newlyweds. This was a life
influencing decision that we are proud of. We have raised two children in the
public school system; both went on to great careers. This easygoing way of life
has been a blessing. The blend of city and country atmosphere of the area put
our family at ease in stressful times.

Our two children blessed us with four
wonderful grandchildren. Our spare time is often spent with family just doing
the simple things of life: picnicking, swimming, spending the weekend in a
mountain chalet looking for bears, or going to the beach. John and
I also enjoy being active in the Choo Choo Shag Club, appropriately named after
the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The club is made up of middle age
boppers having fun and enjoying life. We often travel to other
parts of the southeast, especially South Carolina where the shag originated, to
dance gatherings with other clubs.
As a young man, John became a member of the
Chattanooga Scottish Rite and went on to join the Alhambra Shrine Temple. Now
that our children are raised, his goal is to have more time to devote to this
worthy institution, which has done many great things for children in need.
Entertaining friends in our home and being
entertained is one of our favorite pastimes. We are hardworking, fun-loving,
and enthusiastic people. We are established icons in the real estate industry
in Chattanooga. Working with many out of town buyers has produced us friends
from every walk of life, from different states, and a variety of countries.
Life is exciting when you love your work, and we do! It would be our pleasure
to work with you!
We have enjoyed being a part of helping
others find their perfect home, just like the Three Bears Story, Just
Right. We have felt their sadness and concerns upon leaving or just
arriving. The problems associated with relocation can be overwhelming to the
whole family, especially the children saying goodbye to their friends and
moving to a strange city. Being sensitive to our buyers and sellers
needs and wants has helped us achieve our goals and levels of success with a
68% referral return in 2001. We have never liked telling anyone how good we
are, however we love for our customers and clients to do it.

Bargain Properties >Advice From Real Estate Agents
When buying a home, it is essential to cooperate as closely as possible with your real estate agent. This can be challenging, especially if your agent asks you to do some things that you don't particularly want to do to in order to get you moved into your new home as quickly as possible.
When real estate agents advise you regarding ways to make the transaction work, they are acting as part coach and part business consultant. If you find the house you love and want to "sleep on" the decision for a few days, the agent knows that you run the risk of losing the house. If you are inclined to complicate your offer with clauses that might make the contract unattractive to the sellers, the agent may ask you to consider some modifications. Should you call the week before the closing with an attack of "buyer's remorse", your agent knows the cure. Following your real estate agent's suggestions will increase your chances for a successful move!
